Put the Tundra to work and towed this gem home a few months back. The original plan was to build a BTTTF replica, but I'm still up in the air on keeping it all or "mostly original". The engine was rebuilt and she runs like a gem. A/C blows ice cold. My good friend just bought a new camera and wants to start doing paid videography jobs so he asked if he could tag along and document the day trip. Here's a quick vid if you care to see it. So far here's a list of things done Original engine rebuild updated A/C Interior bench reupholstered rear cabin walls and bench lined with sound-deadening color-matched cloth swapped up old worn out rear speakers removed camper shell-- don't think I'll be putting t back on so its or sale Front and rear Smittybilt "tube stye" bumpers --- not yet installed 31 BFG Ko2 US94 15x8 wheels I'm considering getting new glass on the front windshield or maybe just looking into repairing all the pitting somehow. The suspension is riding as it should-- ROUGH, but I'm looking at a modest Old man EMU setup. Maybe 1-2 inches of lift. If I could find a used rollbar I may pick that up. I'm still on the fence about the paint. The body is 90% good, but that last 10% is an eyesore. It's either; 1) leave it 2) straighten the dents and respray 3) complete color change Now for the pics!
Welcome, clean looking truck! that interior is definitely very clean. KS ID, the only 2 vehicles that I have owned have been 1986 Toyota pickups both of which I picked up in Hayward!
