hey, I have been with toyotas since I started driving. I have been driving and maintaining my dad's 84 since I started driving, and have a 77 of my own now. The 77 I am sad to say was just for parts. it was toast when I bought it. I have been maintaining my girlfriends 77 toyota for a while, and now am building a 78 from the 3 70s trucks. long story but the 77 I have is rusted out and I bought it wrecked for $100. My girlfriends 77 was bought for 500 running and driving but with a lot of rust in the cab, but it had dualies and a visor and lots of other good parts. it was then wrecked by my girlfriend and then she bought a 78 that needed a bed and engine for $150, we are now nearing the completion of that swap after 1.5 weeks. These trucks are awesome, and they only die if the operator does something stupid. I have not had any problems that were not directly linked to me and my friends thrashing the things. They also look amazing when you fix them up. By the way, if anybody needs parts I have 2 77s that need to be gone. let me know if you need parts or want a whole truck.

Hey! Welcome to the site! I'm fairly new here myself, and I must say, so far this has been a great forum to be a part of! BTW, I may be quite interested in some parts for my rig!
we have only been buying whole trucks. I have 2 extra sets of doors and 2 extra back windows myself now. Here is my 77. http://www.fquick.com/garages/Toyota/HiLux/1977/27341/ My girlfriend is procrastinating with hers so I will get those up soon. @CurtisZ if you need parts send me a message and we can come up with something.

Welcome to toyotaminis! You got any ?'s feel ffree 2 ask, someone here will have an answer! What do you have planned for ur yota?
I am currently putting the motor and dualie axel from the blue 77 onto the red 78. I need help with the dist/coil wiring. the 77 coil has 2 wires from the body into the coil and 1 wire plus the main spark wire into the dist. the 78 coil has 4 wires from the body into it and 2 wires plus the main wire to the dist. what should I do? should I start a project thread and ask again?
The red and blue belong to my girlfriend. the yellow one is mine but is dieing. the tan one is my dads but I am planning on buying it.
