I'd like to get a more flush fit for the wheels. Especially in the rear. Can I get modern 15" steel rims with a higher offset that will fit my old school dog dishes? I could also just get spacers...

Or get your wheels banded; I have seen a motorhome with super wide rear wheels and dog dishes.

Widening your factory wheels is prolly the best bet, u could spend a lot of time looking for another that works and never find one.

But who knows, I've often considered the same...if you do find some fill us in!

You could also look into steel wheels in the desired size and retro fit the dish..welding tabs on..idk just formulating the thought.

I was totally oblivious to banding steels, thanks for the tip! I'll hunt around for someone local that can do it.

I was thinking Vintique as well, worth consideration..tho personally I prefer the factory steelies, with the nice slots.

I'm gonna get a set of Vintiques for my 86, some of the 56 series :)

If I get brave I'll try a 62 series with my dog dishes and report back..that may never happen, but would be good for someone looking to run them without a good set of factory rims available.

Ivey, let us know what you do. I cherish my dishes..

As far as I can tell those are a close match to stock. They have the slots. Those are not the smoothies.
