Hi there, I am David from Quebec, Canada. My english is not very good, I usually speak french, you will have to be a little patient with me. I'm 31, I'm a new father and I'm driving a Lexus IS300 now. I owned many toyota, corolla, celica, a trueno from Japan and a pickup 1989 22RE with more than 300 000km but I always wanted a Hilux. I started looking for a 1st gen but it's impossible to find one here in a decent condition. Last week I found a HiLux RN27 1974 3500km from my home so I bought it. It's now on a train and I'm waiting for it to arrives. I read a little on your forum, many of you have really nice trucks and I think you will be a good reference for my future project. There is the toyota: I think there will be much work to do on it but it should be a good start for a project. David.
Probably a paint job and a nice set of wheels for sure. If everything goes well i'd like to put a 2JZ in it.
I thought it would never happen. It's finally leaving the city of it's former order! So... I'm still waiting.
