'Sup fella's! I just found this site, I've been trying to find any info I can about the pre-79 trucks but it's a little scarce. I've got a '77 that my grandpa gave me. My friends and I chopped the front springs nearly in half, pulled a leaf in the rear and put 3" blocks. I love all the looks driving it but it makes it a little rough trying to get around these horrible roads out here.
wonder how many floods thats been through sweet truck, to fix the horrible ride you need to go up a bit, or start cutting. search around here a bit for more info. but i DD mine in downtown seattle, on some of the worst roads in the state got about a 3/4in drop. check my thread on coil spring drop's. kinda think you should cut n bag it, and dont touch the body its got a perfect zen to it. ps: your about to get towed, note the orange sticker
Well the plan is to eventually bag it, just gotta choose between dropping money into the truck or the MR2 When I got home and saw that sticker I was ready to strangle somebody Ooh, it's also infested with spiders right now so I'm gonna wait till winter to start really tearing into it
Eww.. throw some praying mantis's in there. And then, like just.... work in full armor and clothes... SPIDERS ARE BLAH! Welcome
That body style brings back a-lot of good memories for me: My Dad had a red 76 and I used to sit in his lap and steer when I was around 7 Friend in high school that got me into Toyotas had a 78, man those were the days, crusin in his truck jammin 6x9's on the floor to Bon Jovi " Livin on a prayer". Things were much simplier back then, man I feel old! Trucks looks good, good luck with it.
love the truck hope to see ur progress on it n bout the spiders forget them keep ur eye on the prize (yota that is)!
Hey bro nice truck and looking forward to seeing progress on that beast. Bye the way what part of the N.O. are you from???
