hi all, im new to this site, just bought me an 81 hilux flatdeck RN41R. its got an 18r in it, and needs some remdial work on some rust spots. Its white primer for now. Ive got some plans like discs brakes in the front (possibly allround), respray, upgraded suspension, and a new engine - probably a 1uzfe at this stage, converted to a manual.
welcome, an good choice, the older ones have more style than the newer, ... i just bought an 83 with a 18r and manual, flat custom tray, had rust in doors and guards, so just bought 2 new doors and 4wd guards for a bit wider stance

Hi mate, I'm in NZ too, where abouts are you? I know a panelbeater I use in Wellington that does incredibly good deals. Recently did high quality work on rust in my a pillars and all 4 doors, looks brand new for only a few hundred.
