Hey, I'm Andrew from North Carolina. Just got my first toyota, an 84 pickup, last week and I'm looking forward to having something to fix up as I go through the automotive program at my local community college. The site has already been a good source of information for me and hopefully I'll be able to come here for more help as I already know I'll need it.
Pictures; not the best but I only had my phone at the time. Anyway, I picked it up last week for $250. The body has some rust but the frame and engine look pretty good. Its a little hard to tell because the pictures are from before I washed it with the hose. There was so much red clay on it I turned the entire driveway red and still didn't get it all off. Will need to get a steam cleaner or pressure washer.
Nice buy. so whats the plans for this thing? Any questions just ask there are alot of knowledgeable poeple on here.
ATM, I'll be happy to just get it running. Long term I'll at least rebuild the engine, already have an 20r head and intake coming.
