Getting rid of my Optima Yellow top ( 6 years old) & putting in a Odyssey PC1500DT-34/78 Deep Cycle/Starting,same rating as the Yellow Top . Read good things about these batteries & has a longer life span ,12 years. Only battery with a military rating!

I have a yellow top that's been kickin' major ass since 94. (15 years old) It's older than some guys on these forums! It sat in my camper uncharged for at least 8 years of it's life.

wooooow!!!!! thats one beefed battery you got there. lmao! and deep cycle isnt that for boats or cars that sit for long periods of time? i heard that deepcycle batterys are meant to be close to dead and then recharged, not the constant draw and recharge like a car battery?

34/78 series batteries are start/deep cycle.
My Yellow top was the same. This should last quite a while with little problems!!

Odyssey, never heard of them. Might have to look into that. Was thinking about using Kinetik.
