    Hi everyone!!

I've been having a lurk reading up on you guys awesome project threads for the last month or so as I've agreed to buy a 1985 Xtra cab Hilux 2wd, I've tracked down a few parts to begin with like a clean set of Super Advan SA3Rs. Trying to keep myself amused until our lockdown is over and I can travel the 3 ish hours to go pick it up.

I've had my 1984 Xtra cab 4wd for about 6 years so I'm excited to have its baby brother too. The 4wd has a few mods, swapped in an injected 5 ltr V8 from a holden along with a heap of other stuff under the bonnet and interior, hopefully the pics work!

    See you around, John :)

I finally got out to pick up the new one, here's a few pics. I'm looking at a set of white Enkei RP01s tonight :D

    Clean looking rides.

Check the offset on those Enkeis. Depending on their size, they have pretty high offsets that aren't great for out setups. They might be way up in your wheel wells.

Thanks Justin, the offsets are on the high side but I'm hoping a wheel spacer will be enough to get them looking and performing right, though it's not ideal. If not then I'm hoping I can swap them for another set!

I was looking at some new wheels a couple weeks ago, and i loved the weight of the rpf1s, but it looked like I would need 2" spacers or a 4 lug conversion to run anything right on my truck. Mine is an 86 with 4wd fenders and bed though.

Yeah I thought about the 4wd fender swap, the beds are rare here so I think it'll be unlikely I'd find one. They're about an inch or 2 wider right?

Yeah it's a janky louvre, the air filter sits right under there
