So i just got my Toyota Mini and i want to lower it 4-5 inches all around, i know i can get drop blocks in the back under the leaf springs, but would that be all i need to get it that low in the back? Also, I'm not too sure how to adjust the torsions up front or where they are exactly located. I know, I'm new to trucks so its cool if you guys dogg on me for it haha, any detailed help will work, maybe post pics of your dropped toyota and how you got it to sit like that? thanks

check out the how-to section for directions on the torsions. i will advise for you to get a can of pb blaster or wd-40 for the nuts lol. also read up on doing the ball joint flip, and running the 69 camaro shocks up front. in the rear with a 5 inch drop you may want to look into a mini notch if you plan on tossing anything with some weight into the bed of the truck. i have mine sitting at about a 5/4 drop with streetaco 4 inch angled blocks out back, twisted torsions up front and a ball joint flip. ive removed all 4 of the bump stops. its pretty easy to drop the truck once you get to reading the how-to and looking at everything first hand.

^^ yea pretty much what he said .. These trucks are a simple design basic frame and suspension technology .. ..if you have Honda experience suspension/motor stuff you'll have no prob learning the Toyota truck platform . Just crawl under it and get familer with its features and design and you'll have it down in no time

definitely going to want some penetrating oil, makes the job alot easier. you'll need two 22MM wrenches and a ratchet and 22MM socket. first off, sray the hell outta the jam nuts on top of the torsion adjustment and let it soak a while. then sray the hell outta it again. take your first 22MM wrench and place the box end on the bottom nut of the adjustment nut and bolt, turn the wrench over for better clearance to work. push it against the frame or trans then take the 2nd 22MM wrench and try to break the top one loose. i had to use a cheater bar(another big ass wrench) lol good luck!!

I'm trying to go at least this low. maybe a little tiny bit more in the back to have no wheel gap.

It's pretty common they can be a beeotch .lots of pb blaster . And if possible try wedging your closed in wrench against the body of the truck while its on the jam nut make sure its not on both the nuts at the same time ...and get you a big breaker bar on the bolt use your feet to push on the bar . Had to do this with mine and my buds truck

    PB Blaster > WD-40

Learn that now and you'll thank yourself later.

PB blaster vs wd-40 lol .. Wd40 is a water displacement lubricant .all in one stop squeking housewives tool ....pb blaster and liquid wrench kerosene based deep creep rust eaters why they smell so bad 14 years in the heavy & light automotive industry I never use it just not strong enough You guys can keep the wd 40 next to the adjustable wrench in the junk drawer . That's stuff is for houses lol

So i just got back from the hardware store and bought a can of PB BLASTER, I'm gonna spray the sh*t outta the torsion nuts and give it a go again. So i just have to hold one of the top nuts with a 22mm and loosen the bottom part of the bolt? Or do i have to loosen both top nuts from each other first.. this is where I'm confused..

Put a wrench on the bottom nut, with your second wrench, put it on the top nut and break it loose. The top nut is what "locks" the bottom nut.
