so i decided to get rid of my ac to clean up under th hood. but i want to keep heat. im putting my ecm and fuse box behind th dash where the ac box is. what my question is should i build a sheetmetal box for th heater core or would i be better off getting one out of a truck that didnt have ac. sorry its so long but thanks for your advice in advance.

I don't see any reason to change the ductwork in the cabin, just take the actuator off the door directs airflow from the AC evaporator and glue it shut.

Assuming you want to do the extra work, getting the ductwork from a non-AC truck would be easier than a custom box.

yea, i sorta did the same thing when i was moving wires from the engine bay to the inside. I would also agree to find a truck that didn't have A/C and use that heater core box.
