I was searching on here a while back and came across a suspension thread that had this truck ( picture below ) posted on a comment. Well, I saved the picture but didn't bookmark the webpage. Now I can't find it! I really like how this truck sits with the wheel and tire combo. If my memory serves me correct. He stated that it was a 4/4" drop and he uses the truck to haul his video game machines around ( his other hobby ). If anybody here knows what thread I'm referring too or has any info on this particular truck it would greatly be appreciated if you would let me know. This is the stance I'm going for. I have already acquired the Starions and tires. All I need to know is what route he chose and the products used to achieve this stance. It would save me some headache and beat the trial and error process. Oh, One more thing. I think he also stated that he kept all of his leaf springs intact, not wanting to mess with the load capacity. Picture of truck. [/IMG]
Good lord that's clean . Looks like drop spindles and maybe 2 or 3 inch blocks he's running a pretty low profile and stretched tire wich helps some I dunno about 4/4 tho
That's the same thing I was thinking. I got the wheels and tires covered. 205/40/16 with 8's all around for a mild stretch.
Well I'd start with some drop spindles and u can ball joint flip or release a little torsion tension up front if its not low enough and some 3 inch blocks would be a good start
You think 2' drop spindles or 3' DJM lower control arms for the front wit BJ flip? Also, not really feeling blocks for the rear. What about belltech 3' Leafs? Don't want to sacrifice ride quality. Plus, it still will be used to haul light loads.
Either or really I'm more of a spindle guy so I can't offer advice on drop arms most people that buy spindles always want to go lower so 3 inch drop arms might be your ticket. 2 or 3 inch drop up front still leaves room for more if u desire u can still get some free drop out of the factory stuff to help if u wanna go lower
