    SR5 gauge surgeon !! Help

OK, I have the lens off and the black plastic trim that it attaches to off. How do you remove the gauge faces ? Do the needles have to come off ? Are they just pressed on ? do they unscrew ? Also, will the lens off of my non-SR5 cluster swap into the SR5 one ? The SR5 one has two cracks and I was thinking of using mine if it will fit. What do you guys paint the needles with ? any kinda special glow paint or something ? I am deep in surgery on this thing !!
    Any tips appreciated !!

the needles are jus on there but are tighter than tight somehow but they do come off and the regular lens wont fit because of the trip meter reset leg it has

technically it fits but the trip reset peg will either havta be removed, or somehow carefully make a hole for it

Thanks for the reply Joe, Can I drill a hole in the lens ? I will try to find a spare reg cluster to do it to so I don't ruin my stock one.

As far as painting the needles, when you remove them flip em upside down and scrape the orange paint off with an xacto. Then repaint the bottom only with the color of your choice

Thanks for the needle tip Jetas. I was on the verge of painting the tops too.
