@slacker, i wudnt doubt my wheels are gonna get messed up, the roads down here arent that well maintained for lack of better words... major potholes lol...

@oahugrown, im really thinkin about something to switch it up cuz like you sed alot of oahu guys are pickin up on it lol. i got a couple ideas.

@hood, thanks man. i came up with the tailgate idea one night jus chillin in my room before i went to sleep. then i jus did it, reason being that our trucks are from japan. so i did my part lol. now idk how long im gonna keep it like that lol.

as for the additions to the truck, i havent done much lately to it jus tryna save up some money for now. haha will keep you guys posted.

thanks again for your support! aloha!

I don't know much, saw the picture on facebook with little info. The following was posted by a mutual friend of !ynOt on facebook along with the picture:

"Last night we lost a piece of history. One of the most well know Toyota's on the island. Owned by a good friend of mine who I would even call a brother. This is the result of a drunk driver. The driver is a repeat offender. The truck has been deemed a total loss. This truck had a very sentimental meaning. Family heirloom passed down through the generations. I'm thankful that my boy Anthony Akoni-Morikazu Costales and his girl are safe and sound. So if you intend to drink and the drive, think about it. You not only endanger yourself but also anyone who may become involved with your decision."

bums me out too. thanks for the word spread.

so i used to park my truck on the side of the road everyday since i started dating my gf and then about to go to bed, my gf's relatives yelling "tony tony! come outside! quick!"...

that night a guy was driving down the street at an estimated 55+ mph and he didnt have his headlights on almost hitting another car that had turned prior to hitting my truck. that car had heard the crash and came around the block and seen my truck smashed and stayed at the scene until the driver was arrested. he hit my car took out two street signs, and pushed my truck three car lengths down the road, causing both his air bags to deploy in his car. and i dont think i mentioned that this guy was supposed to go to court a week prior to this accident and it didnt look like he went.

it sucks having this happen to me but i like to think of it as this:
    1. my truck saved a life that night
    2. my truck got smashed instead of someones house he couldve ran into

those two reasons help me accept the fact that my truck will not be salvageable.

it sucks but everything happens for a reason.
    thanks for a support guys!
