Well, you guys all got me in the mood to add a build page for myself.. thanks to everyone else doing it, Ill hop on as well.. I have a couple of threads but here will be my main one... all my questions will be posted here...and if you have a question, feel free to ask and not worry about jacking my thread...ill be cool about it :)

Here she is in the shape I got her...btw guys, I need a name for her.. I just call her taco but I dont think it fits...need something more original...so when I first got it, it was kind of a big let down.. I had been promised a new first vehicle since my sister got one for her b-day.. nothing special just an 07 toyota yaris but non-the-less its was new and shiny...but hey, it was free and my mom was happy I got a car and she didnt have to pay for it...

at the time this was the only future I saw for the truck.. just pushing me around and pulling my bikes...

then I found some pics and such on the web and saw how sweet the truck really was and I decided to sell my dirtbikes...sold them, bought some rims, tint,a system, ditched the tool box which is for sale btw, and lowered her..
ditched the bumper when my friend bought me "blue balls" for a present..

Now for the body work, the pics of my truck before, look pretty good but she was a ding queen...it took me a loonngggg time to get them all out, and fiberglass the roof all the way around the windsheild to stop the rain since it was all rusted out.. I think I did an excellent job with it seeing as you cant tell a large part of my roof is glass and it does not leak anymore...I tried bondo on the bed first.. messed up horribly so I bought a new bed with less problems and grant roll pan...

heres the new bed after I got it home, 300 for the bed itself, 80 for a tank of gas, 20 for food... well worth it.

the guy I bought it from had a body dropped truck that he got bored with so he cut it in half for fun I guess... anyways all that was left was the frame (in pieces), and a few dash and body parts which he gave me...

the tailgate was trashed so I used my old one...

my failed attempt at fixing my old bed, mind you this is a 16 year olds first attempt at this crap.. so if youve done this your whole life, and you wanna point out my mistakes.. bite me. :)

well I drove by the shop every day to take pics of the progress so I could see it, and have picture evidence if they screwed up...

day one...suprised to see it done 2 days early...

rushed and threw some gas in it, and drove it 3 miles down the road to get my glass put back in... people at lloyds auto glass were really chill, they didnt mind my glass sitting there for 2 months as I worked on my truck...
btw these are cell phone pics

now as I get money, I will do these mods.. not sure what order but here they are.

1- double din navigation. eclipse for $320 buy it now..

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=350113761685

2- 7inch wide screen reaw view mirror tv...

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=110312226362

3- 2 8 inch "head rest monitors" that can basically be mounted anywhere.. they come with a shroud to mount and the screen slides in.. one for sure is going in the dash, maybe 2 ? and maybe 1 or 2 in the back headrest for some hater vision...

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...0335042861&sspagename=STRK:MEWAX:IT&viewitem=

4- I want these 23 inch lcds and hopefully make some fiberglass doors and mount them into them..but thats a big project maybe...would be sweet though.. hmm lost the link...

5- 2 kicker l7s 12 inch with a 1500 watt kicker amp, mounted in a custom center console after i mount my bucket seats in...also some good quality tweeters and other highs and mids to balence it out...

heres the bucket seats that are going in my truck, got them in my shed now, just got to mount them in...some day next week after I know she runs good

my seats dont have the hole in the head rest area. mine are solid.. but the same exact color and everything else...

Also going to have my entire bed cut out, and dimand plated for 100 bucks and then a custom bed cover with shocks to lift it for another 100 bucks.. my neighbors dad owns a steel shop and gets it extrmely cheap. when I cut my inner fenders out under the hood to bag it, I will tub it with dimand plate as well, all color matched to my truck..

my tailights will be shaved at the same time and tailgate shaved shut as well...

I would love a 4 runner front end.. and other then finishing my interior and bags.. Ill leave her alone...but this is all bull crap talk now untill I get the cash.. its going to be a slow process but Im hoping to have this all done by this time next year...

    any comments ? yay ? nay ? whatsup ???

No I tack welded it every inch or 2.. the only welder i had was my neighbors and the thing would blow holes through my bed like crazy so we welded what we could and fiberglassed the rest then smoothed it off with bondo

what size are you looking for ? I can get these in 13 16 and 18 inch locally.. they got a ton of them on craigslist.. I paid 300 for these with tires that lasted 6 months...

    Looking great!

I'm planning on doing the same thing with the monitor, in the dash, over the glove compartment, once I fiberglass the dash. Not sure about the monitors in the head rest, in back window is tinted, you won't really be able to see them, just my 2 cents.
