motor swap from 3vz to 22r?

    theres a truck here for sale for a good price, but its a v6.
    i really want a 4 banger truck, and my grandpa could use the extra motor for the 4x we have.
    would it be a direct drop in if i take the 3vz out and drop a 22r?????????

    Truck:
    1976,1979,and also YES a 1973 HILUX
    DID A SWAP LIKE THIS BEFORE,YOU HAVE TO MOVE THE MOUNTS ON THE V6 FRAME FORWARD.THERES ANOTHER WAY TO DO IT WITH JUST ADDING A PLATE FROM THE V6 MOUNT ON THE FRAME TO MATCH UP WITH THE 22R MOUNTS.YOU CAN ETHER BOLT THEM ON OR WELD THEM ON.BUT IF YOUR GUNNA USE IT FOR TRAILING,I'D MOVE THE MOUNTS FORWARD AND WELD THEM ON.:waytogo:
