Cab is cut motor is mocked up ... ordering parts so can see where things line up if I need to go up down back etc...also as it sits ...stock hood fits ...that's the main goal here
I was going to ask how one goes about the rad support when doing a body drop, but this image shows that you chop and drop it as well. Now I know!
Those are nice tubular A arms you have on your build. I am looking to get a set of those for my truck when I do my coil over setup. I saw the ones from Stab Fab that has a lot of adjustability. Yours are more of the style that I am looking for.
After the body drop ...hang the fenders n core support.. Where it naturally wants to lay is the correct drop on it
Rebuilding the hubs currently with timken bearings... then hopefully doing a wilwood brake setup front n back
Wilwood brakes on both front and rear will really enhance your braking performance not to mention looking killer on your build. On my other hot rod project, I have both Wilwoods and Strange Engineering brakes. No complaints with them.
They are pretty much the same as Wilwood as far as braking performance and quality product. I just used Strange for my project since it was available at the time I was building my other project that was not a Toyota.
If it is worth taking a look at, I would keep all options open and you can then decide what will work best for your build plans as far as cost and simplicity.
