Got the new alarm installed,just some clean up work to do ,also installed a Linkr-LT2 smart phone tracker. When /if the alarm should go off sends info to my phone & tracks any movement of my truck!
I always had an idea for an alarm system that could remote disable your vehicle, kinda like reversing the remote start option on some alarms.. idk if someone offers that, but I've always thought of it as a great failsafe. That tracking option is awesome when you're trying to catch them red-handed!!
Yeah, this alarm like my old Crime Guard , has a Car Jacking mode, that will shut the vehicle off. And the tracker once activated ( alarm goes off, messages to your phone ), you can operate all the functions of the alarm. The tacker cost is only $119, with a year of service , & $29 a year after that! The lowest price of this type of device, & will work with most alarms.
