Hey guys...I just bought a 92 extra cab off my buddy..and my cousin has a set of stock chrome 1994-1998 twin turbo supra wheels. 17x8 fronts and 17x9.5 rears i believe +50 all around. (not the exact wheels but same ones i'll be getting off my cousin) question is i know the rears will fit but what about the fronts? i cant try them on because my cousin is still out of town. i heard i have to bore them or run a spacer..have any of you guys had a set of TTsupra stocks? Thanks for any info
Theyre guna hit the strut rod thing up front wen turning. my 19x8 +42 rubbed bad. I had to turn less. haha
They clear the fenders, the issue is on the suspension. The rod triangulating the LCA is where its guna rub i mean scrape
I bored the wheels and ran spacers. If I had to do it again I would get the spacer (25mm) bored instead of the wheels for the front. The rears just find a 5 mm spacer and you don't need to bore the wheels. make sure you get the Toyota specific lug nuts.
run spacers up front or you can adjust your steering stops to prevent the rubbing. i would buy spacers for the front and adjust the stops if they still continue to run close to the rods....
yup still have..its my baby hah...now that i have the truck dont want to drive my 86 as much...been driving my 86 everyday for years..now its time to give her a break for a little while anyways.
yessssss this is just the info i was looking for!!! i was stuck between drilling out the centerbore of the mk4 supra wheels or doing something with spacers.... THANKS!!
