So last night I was cleaning my engine bay a little and pulled the 20r valve cover so I can degrease it and polish it up. So when I pulled it off everything was black and gross, the cam was black rockers was black and gross and the dual timing chain was clean from what I know the 20r only came with a single timing chain and they didn't start putting a dual chain until the 22r. So where can I find the block markings so I can look more into this or maybe you guys would know right off hand

 

The 20r motor came with a dual chain, as well as early 22r motors.. The blocks have a stamp in them right by the alternator above the motor mount, its a little flat milled spot and will say what it is.

Welp it's a 20r, I guess back to looking for an 22r but on the bright side I learned something new today lol
