    Hey Fellas,

So it looks like I'm going to be purchasing a pretty mind 1974 Hilux (18R-C). My biggest fear is or was not being able to fine maintenance parts. This place looks like I'll find everything I need:

    1974 TOYOTA PICKUP 2.0L 1968cc L4 2BBL (R) [18RC] Parts

    Anyone ever used this?

ya i use rockauto all the time. i have a 73. I ended up doing a 22r swap into my 73, but i still use rock auto for all my suspension parts. i didnt like my 18rc and it didnt like me, blew up after me driving it for a week with the 4 speed.

got any pics of the 74? where are you located? welcome to the site

Was the 22RE swap and 5speed tranny hard? I'd like to have a built 22RE but I hear mixed reviews on how much power a non boosted 22RE can generate. The attached pic is the 74 that will be in my hands early Feb. Still searching for an original front bumper for it without much luck :(

    Awesome truck!! Love the green!!

Rockauto is great and with my checking really seems to be the cheapest. Bought all the parts for my '71 Lux there with great results.

i dropped in a 22r, not a 22re. if you have a 20r already in its an easy swap, if you have the 18rc its a little bit of a pain.

Hey I got a bumper, it is off a 77 so it has a couple of extra mounting holes. I could shoot a picture to let you take a look.
