It's been a while since I have been to this site. Years ago I swap a 7M into my 1990 ext. cab 2wd. Lost interest in project and pushed truck into garage and there it has been setting. I just purchased an engine from 2003 GTO that I'm going to install in truck. Received 6 speed tranny yesterday. For swap project. I have searched this site and other to gain some knowledge on this swap. I have found a couple threads where guys have started swaps but nothing showing or any mention of actually finishing swap. You question is has any here started and finished an LS engine swap into a 2wd pickup?

That's definitely the swap I would consider doing when and if my motor goes. Will probably run a pro charger or supercharger.

EXTREMELY interested in this. Mentally trying to figure out how to get the traction to the ground.
