Lowering leaf?

    77 hilux 92 2wd 89&90 runners
    Saw somewhere on here that that 77 leaf length is the same as early 80s. Does it bolt up. Can it work?

    Looking at the bell tech lowering leafs...

    I'm looking to try those leafs on my 78 soon. But can't find anyone else that has done it, other than the polished t(u)rd build.
