www.airbagit.com sells a two inch kit for toyotas with u bolts for $26, they also have the angle built in to prevent vibration, i have their 5 inch blocks on my s10 and have had no problems at all, and no vibrations even at highway speeds (75+)

I saw them at Autozone and Orielly's... $39.99 for the 3" and $29.99 for the 2"...

*Quick tip#1: Spray your favorite kind of penetrating oil on the stock U-bolts the day or night before. It'll make it a little easier if your only using hand tools. If you have air and an impact gun then save the spray for another day...

*Quick tip#2: Some U-bolts have excess thread left after you install the blocks. Trim/cut them down to avoid getting them caught on a manhole cover, rocks, roadkill, etc....

*Quick tip#3: Cut off some of the axle to frame bushing (aka bumpstops) to give you more suspension travel. I left about an inch of rubber on mine...

    Good luck!

I have the universal three inch blocks on my 80 and no matter how much I tighten the damn things my axle stilll has play in it. It just moves back and forward a hair but enough to piss me off. I'm thinking about just taking the things off.

the ones on my s10 have the specific size hole so the axle won't move at all, so i recommend the ones from www.airbagit.com, and a 5 inch block with u bolts only cost me $36

Ok, heres another quick question. If I lower the front by just cranking the torsion bars, will this create any allignment problems or uneven tire ware?

I disagree, I have been running with no torsion bars for 8 months and around 10k miles... no uneven wear for me.
