When I first got my truck (couple months ago) it would fire up quickly on the first turn. Now I've noticed that it takes a little gas to get it going. When I first bought it the pump was @ 2 PSI and it has since dropped to 1.5 PSI. I'm guessing this the problem (lack of fuel pressure) so I wondering where I should start? Should I replace the fuel filter first?

Or do I just need to adjust my fuel pressure regulator? I guess I could try that but my question would still be why my fuel pressure is dropping.

swap filters first see what that does. Never hurts to have clean filters anyway.

After that move on to the FPR

I figured I would follow up with my "solution". Turns out the gas cap wasn't twisted on all the way. In Oregon you can't pump your own gas so it took me longer to figure out than it should have. I just go in behind the attendant now and tighten it all the way cause they almost never tighten it down enough.
