i have a really early 22r head with the circle ports and round valve opening instead of the penuts. let me know if it helps.
thats an 81-84 22r head. they all had round exhaust ports. the difference is the 20r intake is also round. not square. the 22r had 2 intakes, 81-84 and 85-95 (laser) and the combustion chamber is different. are you adapting a stock intake into a single side draft intake? im possibly doing the same thing soon. just bolt it to your truck, and weld a couple cross braces from side to side so when you cut the front off it stays in the same area. or weld some bolts to your work table, and bolt it down.
Ya that's a 22r head Like i said it can be just a pos head complete junk just as long as the intake surface is in ok shape and bolt holes are there.
sweet. im on the hunt for a 2 pc 5M supra intake. i want to turn the upper half into a dual carb plennum to run 32/36s or 38/38s. i really want a small bore revvin 6. the fuel injection on them just sucks and i like carbs. i dont even care if they fit under the hood. lol.
no only got the head, but no valve cover cause im in the process fully polishing it. offer reasonable price on the head. unkown miles. you need to tapp/die 2 holes for the block off plate.
