I been looking for guides or threads for doing a 1JZ-GTE swap on my 76 RN23 but have had no luck. Can anyone point me to the right direction to gain some knowledge?

It's a long motor. You'll be cutting into the firewall. The Supra forum's will be better for getting info about the motor. Like what you need to make it turn over and run in a swap. Also consider the 2jzge. We are talking 600 bucks for a complete engine compared to 6000 or so in today's market.

Check out my group Supra-truck on Facebook.
They can answer just about any questions you have about the jz swaps.

Someone on here shoe-horned a 1j or 2j in one of these trucks and it was a tight fit,

    I had a 7m in a 78 about 8 years ago.
The i6 engines are a tight fit. but can be done.
