Quick question. I’m replacing my current 20R head with a rebuilt unit.
I plan to replace all manifold bolts ( intake & exhaust) with studs. Stainless on intake manifold, steel on exhaust.

I’ve received conflicting advice on using something like locktite blue on the threaded portion that goes into the aluminum head. I’ve always used vibratite anti seize in the past on the bolt threads.

Just curious what other members are doing.

    TIA Fred

I'm an amateur home automotive mechanic and a professional bike mechanic, and I have absolutely no use for locktite in my life. Anti-seize for the win!
