So I've been looking for a lightbar for the bed of my 1994 pickup and haven't had much luck. I did have a guy today offer me a lightbar from a Dodge Dakota that he claims will fit and is suppossed to get some measurements and get back to me. Anyone know if it would fit. I don't actually have a bed for my truck yet but I have one on order. Anybody tell me the width where the bar would mount might be?

 

Sounds like test fitting will be the determining factor here..

 

Yeah the main hoop comes straight down and does not kick in away from the bed sides like all the bars I see actually in the trucks so I'm going to pass on it and hope I can find the correct bar.

I saw this one on a truck recently on a trip. I may try to make it by there when I get a day off and see if the owner would be interested in selling.

 

That one look a tad bit big.. IMHO.. but maybe it's the short bed illusion.lol

 

One of those parts where you know 'the one' till you see it, or you end up making it yourself.
