So my keyed ignition took a dump, will be pulling the steering wheel to remove the window washer knob & get to the body of the ignition to replace the cylinder. Just some unplanned repair, glad in happened in the garage & not while far out at a show!!

So Napa told me they could order one & did ,$126, it did not have the locking pin on the top. This is what hlds the cylinder inside the housing & must be push in to remove!
I called my local Toyota dealer right away , they could order one $158, got the next day & it is in & working great!!

People always complain about dealer prices.....I can't figure out why.
Another great example of why they're worth the extra cost.

Great Job on the repair. It'll be good for another 30 years.
