i decided to start a build thread on my yota. i dont have alot of pics to date but have been taking more as i go along. truck is currently bagged on 20s. engine driven comp and 20 gallon tank. 22r motor 4 speed. blitz fast valves for front left and right up and smc for front downs. rear is parker up n down. i will post up some pics of it as i go and have time. i just started on the body drop tonight trying to get it ready for a car show coming up. so anyone from the arkansas area hit up slamily reunion for a peek at it. as of right now i have full plans on having it there in the under construction class. as long as everything goes right that is. enjoy the pics and feel free to ask questions.

i want to start off by saying i know that 20s will not fit under stock sheet metal in the front and that these trucks are not made to lay rocker on 20s. but im not settling for that. from what has been planned on it they will fit with slightly modified fenders. and heavily modified firewall. i do have a plan on how to make them fit. and as long as everything works the way it is in my head and the measurements work then they will be under it laying rocker. if not i may succumb to 18 or 19s. but i plan on 20s to the rocker with no pinch weld.

just wanted to get that out of the way im sure i will get flamed a lil but eh i know what i want with it. lets just hope it works out lol. so let the pics begin.

I've forwarded that request to Jeff. I don't have the authority to move it from this section of the forum.

heres where im at right now. going to pull the bed cab and motor tranny in next day or so so i can start working on the frame.

once i get it to the frame going to get it up on blocks and level it then the cutting can begin and cab will get to go back on to be cut for the body drop. then wheels can go back on front and come down off the blocks so the cab can be tubbed for the massive wheels. after the camber issue is addressed that is. i dont know if anyone can tell from the pics but this thing has bad camber with the 20s. thats all to come tho. kinda stuck right now gotta go pick my welder up from the gf house now that i have her car done for the most part.

a little bit more progress today finally found some help to get the cab off the frame.

these cabs are heavier than i imagined.

got some of the frame cleaned up and the motor and transmission off of the frame. hard to take pictures when your covered in sweat and grease but i got a few.

the lovely girlfriend on the right and one of my best friends on the left and dozer seen something move outside lol

believe it or not they were both helping removing lines and drag blocks and wiring gas tank etc while i was getting the motor out. going to do some cleaning on the frame and start the z on the front soon so i can get the cab back on after the frame gets cleaned and fresh coat of paint. also going to redo the rear where the gas tank and battery used to reside. hopefully this build will inspire those with out a shop to do some work on their trucks as you see i only have an open carport with dirt floor. but doing the best with what i got.

Gonna be pretty cool to see another one of these with 20's

What size are your tires? i'm getting ready to get 20's as well as bag my truck. Possibly body drop it as well, but it all depends on if i can make my 20's fit without getting too deep into the front.
