If anyone is looking to upgrade thier 89-95 truck to intermittent wipers it is very easy to do. i just did it to my truck. all you need is the intermittent wiper switch. it involves removing the steering wheel and removing 4 screws and the plugging the new harness into to your out plug when you remove your old one.

Yeah! List and/or a write up would be great. Are you talking the arm on the steering column?

Its the arm and switch that are all one piece i believe. The pause between swipes of the blades is controlled but the switch itself.

most runner wiper arms have the rear wipers too...

easiest way to do this is replace the whole unit with the wipers and the headlights... it's one unit and you just unbolt unplug and re-assemble

did it with my 93... hardest part is pulling the steering wheel!

you can just replace the wiper side... but that requires re-running the wires in the combination switch...

thats what its called... a combination switch...

this mod is definitely worth it!!!

I did this on my 89 4x4. The original steering column was non-tilt with regular wipers. I went to the yard and got a tilt column with intermittent wipers out of a 93 pickup. Everything bolted right up. I had no clue when I plugged in the switch it would automatically work. The wiper delay relay is prewired in the truck from the factory. I now have intermittent wipers:D

Question...Does it matter about the rear wiper control?
