installing a 22re long block help !!

    I need suggestions on what else to replace when I do this and any tips that will help. I'm going to replace waater pump, plugs, clutch plate and bering, have the radiater flushed so far.

    This is a used long block? Replace the timing chain, oil pump, water pump timing guides, tensioner, belts t-stat, plugs, wires, rotor, cap, any hoses that look weak, pvc valve, that's what i can think of off the top of my head.

    I've got the radiator,ac compressor,water pump out , the alternater is loose but i can't get the wiring plug out , I've pushed the tab down and lifted it up but it doesn't pull out any suggestions ?

    Talk dirty to it? I don't know on that one. If a plug gives me trouble i give it time and usually get it out. Maybe remove the alternator, pull it closer to you and get after it on another angle.

    seals

    Push the clip down and push it in before you pull it back. I think since you're back there anyways change the rear main seal. Do the front one too. Other then all new gaskets that should do it. Good luck.
