I haven't lowered a Toyota, But I have raised an Explorer with the torsion bars and its basically the same thing.
Take a measurement on both sides of the truck from the middle of the fender to the top of the tire and write it down. then lift the truck up so the weight is off the suspension. (use jack stands and be safe) There will be a bolt at the end of the torsion bars to turn which will raise or lower the front end (someone will chime in with pics soon, I imagine) Turn each bolt the same number of times on each side, lower the truck to the ground and take another measurement from fender to tire. Drive the truck around the block to let the torsion bars "settle" and take another measurement. If it needs more drop, jack the truck up and crank more on the bolt to lower it more, then measure again. If you go too low, you can always just turn it back up a bit. Measure again after a week of driving to make sure the bars havent "settled" and need more adjustment to get the drop you want. After its settled, get an alignment done at a good shop so it doesn't chew through tires like crazy. ( I learned this lesson the hard way when the explorer chewed through two $400 a piece, Mickey Thompson mudders in less than a year.)
Hope this helps. Sorry I don't have pics.

Thats pretty much it but there is a locking nut that need to be loosened first. So basically there are 2 22mm(21 or 22 i can't remember) nuts on each tortion bar.You have to break them apart and they can be a b!tch. It's a good idea to lube the sh!t out of it and let is soak in over night.Once you break them apart you loosen it back to allow for tortion adjustment. Then get a ratchet on the tortion bolt and make sure you are turning it the right way.Like ray said drop it stroll around and let it settle then check it again.I use chalk to mark the threads as a guide for where to set the tortion bars.Good luck.

Like Malessohomgrown said use chalk to keep take track of where your at and don't rush the process take your time!! I'll try and remember and post some pics this week of mine when I do them! Good luck!

You can also do a ball joint flip that's easier! I think there's a write up on how to do it on here but either way you literally just flip the BJ's!!
