I've started the tear down of my front end. I have to replace the front wall where the radiator and oil cooler rad is. Also passenger front side took the harder hit so will need to replace wheel well also. I'm not a body man so looking for advice from you baggers who have dismantled your truck then put them back together. It appears that its all welded instead of screwed so, do I cut with a sawzall? I will need to do this twice, once on damaged truck then on parts truck. Looking for advice.

    its spot welded together.

find all the spots and drill em out, with the smallest bit that will take out the weld. dont need to drill all the way through, just far enough to make the weld fail with a lil convincing with a chisel.

or at least thats how i do it.

Tons of threads here just search for like how to do a 4runner conversion its basically drilling through spot welds then cutting sides a bit behind core support measure cause you want the cuts on both trucks as exact as possible as for the Wheel well just whatever section you need but if you git a full parts truck I'd just do the whole front clip

i made due with the tools i had........ you will need to drill out the spot welds off the core support. there is a spot weld drill bit you gotta buy, forgot what size it is but you can also use a drill bit.

i drilled out all the spot welds, removed the old core support, lined up the new one, test fitted the fenders for lineup..... once i verified it all lined up i used liquid nails on the face end of the fender wells to seal between them and the core support...... since i didnt have a welder, i used rivets end a rivet tool to secure the new core support. when i was done it was solidly held in place. as you can see from the pictures everything lined up just fine. i used more liquid nails to seal the seams between the core support and fender wells.
