Am I the only one or has anyone else's hood caved in in the rear? Now I have to yank on the front to open the hood. I don't know what happened... i worked on the truck one day and the next the hood's smashed in the rear? I don't remember pissing anyone off...

Here's what I had to work on, and it only squeaked for two days!

loosen the 4 bolts that hold the hood on, and pull the hood forward just a lil bit and re-tighten

I moved it forward all the way and still no difference. I know this hood's a goner. I wanted to replace it anyway... it never sat right. Don't buy aftermarket unless you absolutely have to... I should have told that to my grandfather when this was his...

take the hood off and lay it on the grass, top down.

take a ruber mallet and whack it good right where its hitting. then whack it not so good, right next to there, and again, and again. keep tapering out a bit.

this works great on my wheeler, but i dont care how it looks, hood has been on 3 cabs...

you might also try loosening the brackets that hold the hood hinges and moving them up.
