Hi im new here, i found this site since im wanting to lower my truck, i wanna make it hellaflush i think its called lol. its a 93 toyota single cab 22re my daily driver, it doesent look to nice currently but i just got a new job so im gonna lower it with blocks and loosening the torsions up front so its flush with the tire. im going for this look and rim style.
Thanks but to bad it has a rebuilt title hence the black hood, if anyone has some nice offset wheels for sale I'd be interested
Its OK there are a few of us that have salvage titles. It just adds character besides your not planning on selling it, are you?
Exactly. Salvage title is just a proof of strength that it could be rebuilt. And if you don't wanna sell it, then its just words. Looks good so far. Welcome to the site. I'm out in snohomish.
Seems pretty low unless you're only doing city driving and racing stoplight to stoplight. Should be high twenties for highway mpg. My 92 22RE gets 28-29 highway and around 18-20 city
A good tune up will bring that mileage back up. Taylor makes some nice exact fit plug wires that are way better than stock, a high voltage coil and good plugs like auto lite or ngk. Cat and/or muffler are probably plugged up some too. And if its EFI, replace the O2 sensors with new Bosch (not cheapie) sensors. All those things add power so the engine doesn't need as much throttle input for the same power output. My old 92 got like 22 in town driving it like a go cart and flooring it. My 78 has a carved version of a 22r and I get 22 or so in town driving the same. Pulls 30 on the highway doing much higher revs. I can help ya out with it sometime, I'm not too far away. Lol
I try to keep my cruising rpm to a 3500 cap for extended times. Few minutes above wont hurt but do it alot and the valves will get sloppy. Regearing by the diff or tire size is in order. For most of us lol.
