Nice informative site you guys have here.
I am from South Africa, Cape Town and the mini truck scene is starting to grow down here. Has always been around but the following is getting stronger.
I have recently purchased a 1972 Hilux RN13 (12R) from an elderly man who happens to be the 2nd owner.
Always garaged but barely driven.

Problems I have noted;
Steering box is shot
Head gasket blown
Clutch fluid leaking into cabin
Exhaust broken in half

Intend to repair everything and get it roadworthy and registered before doing any upgrades / modifications.

I also have a 1984 LHD KP61 that my brother and I are currently building for drags.

Those early trucks are worth plenty here in the states!

 

Yup those are pretty hard to come by over here specialy in good shape
