Help on 2jz swap

    Hey guys...so im planning on a 2jz swap into my 2wd 93. Has anyone on here done tgis swap? If so what was the materials list. Im hearing back and forths about "do it " "dont do it" ..too much stuff to swap. Just looking to see if anyone here has done one

    Best bet is going to be to get have the donor car there.

    The wiring is going to be the fun part.

    7m may be better option from what I gather. shorter in length end to end which means better fitment and not so complicated when it comes to wiring. Both will bolt up to a 5 speed w series trans with the right bellhousing.

    Have you considered a 1ggte engine? they are a 2liter twin cam six with a turbo and a phscialy much shorter than a jz engine. Ive seen a few hiluxs fitted with a 1gg engines and they fit in the hole just fine. A jz engine will give you problems with the radiator as the engine is too long to fit.
    Have a look at this post, looks like you can use 3y engine mounts and its pretty much a straight bolt in.
