Hey guys...so im planning on a 2jz swap into my 2wd 93. Has anyone on here done tgis swap? If so what was the materials list. Im hearing back and forths about "do it " "dont do it" ..too much stuff to swap. Just looking to see if anyone here has done one
7m may be better option from what I gather. shorter in length end to end which means better fitment and not so complicated when it comes to wiring. Both will bolt up to a 5 speed w series trans with the right bellhousing.
Have you considered a 1ggte engine? they are a 2liter twin cam six with a turbo and a phscialy much shorter than a jz engine. Ive seen a few hiluxs fitted with a 1gg engines and they fit in the hole just fine. A jz engine will give you problems with the radiator as the engine is too long to fit. Have a look at this post, looks like you can use 3y engine mounts and its pretty much a straight bolt in. http://www.toymods.org.au/forums/th...an-RN85-Hilux-Dual-Cab-2WD-Beware-lots-of-pix and this one https://toyotaminis.com/forum/threads/5lams-83-hilux-dual-cab.696/ or google 1ggte hilux or 1ggze hilux for the super charged version
