Just wanted to say hello in the newbie forum. I've owned a 1986 4runner I'll post photos later for 3 years and i recently purchased a 1972 Hilux that is in the middle of a LS engine swap that the previos owner started. I haven't done allot of my own work on my trucks before but i hope to change that with the information I get from this site and to share whatever I do to them with you guys.
Welcome to the forum. You actually live close to one of the better Junkyards to pull parts, off of Cherry Avenue, once was an import only, not sure if it still is. LKQ (formerly Ecology) 15228 Boyle Avenue Fontana, Ca 1-909-356-1860 Nice looking truck, looks like a great starting point. This LS swap that you are in the middle of didn't show up in any of your photos, post where you are at in your repairs, so we know which direction you may need to go. Again, Welcome...
Nice acquisition! I saw this on Craigslist a while back. I'm glad we can now follow along with you! WELCOME!
I know its been a minute but here is a link to a thread on Ratsun of what the previous owner had done to the truck https://ratsun.net/topic/75440-72-toyota-hilux-53-swap/ I unfortunately haven't been able to do much as of yet due to school, work, and being a novice mechanic but i have been gathering parts and hope to begin progressing soon. Here is also a link to the Build thread I started, where i have some other photos of the truck so far. https://toyotaminis.com/forum/threads/1972-2nd-gen-hilux-ls-swap.25419/
