Hello everybody. New here from Pine Knot KY. I just drug home a 1975 Hilux, 4speed, 20R. The plans are GM alternator, GM ignition mod, Disk brake swap from junk yard toyota, I'm an old man and needed a new project. Already in love with my truck.

Welcome to TM! If i may make a suggestion, skip the GM ignition mod if you can and jump straight to a MSD style ignition. And your truck should already have disc brakes. Just get some better pads

Thanks, My truck has drum brakes on front. Through my studies, it seems 75 was the year they switched to disks as an option, Then full time from 76 on. I'll study into the MSD ignition.

Interesting, i was under the impression all 75+ models had disks standard.
