always get my h4 housings on ebay. an hid kit is basically a better bulb system for the H4 style socket. in my 78 i found a seller on ebay with nice quality housings and bulbs for the 5-3/4" rounds. i did have to trim my core support openings at the back a bit though since they are alot deeper. also had to split the hold down ring for the slightly larger diameter (about 1/8" more) and cut off the alignment ears. i also plan to grind down a little of the meat where it sits at the flange so its flat not a little off. nice looking product and good performance, just a little work to make them fit. no "city lights" hold though. although i may put some. they also had them available with a blue halo ring, which although their photos decieve you into thinking is always blue, is actually clear until it lights up. they sent me one of them by mistake instead of a normal when i needed a replacement.

im also using some 95/110w or 85/90w 2 way bulbs, but with stock wiring. i have them aligned for m highs to be a nice low pattern. i plan to rewire the lights to utilize the centers now having low beam function and to run power off relays and larger wire to drastically lessen the voltage drop they get. doing that lets the bulbs get 12-13v at idle instead of about 9-10. i dont have their ebay name off hand but can look and find it.

True HID are not just a bulb change.
High quality glass lens ,ballast, harness, & bulb.
    With output ranges from 3,000k-30,000k
Some of the kits are low beam only, the better ones high & low beams. Also different shades of light.
