header question

    hey guys i got a 75 toyota hilux and i wanna buy a header for it but i don know where to get one that will adapt my egr pipe onto it... what can i do... do i need it connected or can i jus buy any old header not hook up that part of the egr help me out thanks

    well unless you live in the republic of California where its a mandatory life sentience if you ever remove any emissions device from your car, you would be better off deleting the egr. I take the egr off all my cars just to have less crap on it. but i live in florida, no one cares.

    Is your 75 pre smog or post smog? Its right on the border there

    the truck is pre smog so i don need to worry bout that but i have the stock carburator on the truck and it needs the egr to function correctly.... i jus want to see if there is a trick to havin the egr system with an aftermarket header

    Yep. That trick is a weber carb swap :D

    I have a pacesetter. It was cheap, and has held up to almost 2 years of high revs and smacking road turtles
