I started to hear a faint sound of an exhaust leak at the header. Then something was different in how it idled. It just wasn't running as "peppy" as it normally does.

After taking the heat shield off and checking on all the bolts, I noticed ONE was loose. Tried to tighten it but it just kept spinning.

Pulling it out I noticed it was kinda short. I wondered how it could even be long enough to make it to the head.

Grabbed my small supply of header bolts I pulled from a few 2xr at the salvage yards, and found one that was a lil longer.

Now the bolt actually made it to the threads! Previous owner must have put the wrong bolt in! Just like that she was back to normal. :)

    Cool...

FYI~ The top 4 studs are longer by 1/4" than the lowers to accomdate the EGR pipe...
