    Congrats on that one man! My first truck was a 99 single cab like that with a 5 speed and a bigger turbo. Man it was a beast. Yep i remember it like it was yesterday. Oh sweet boost... haha

    haha god its expensive tho!!!! i just spent 65 bucks on an oil change i gotta put 4gal of oil in the beast!!!! and just spent 275 on new batteries im so broke !

    Fuel is EZ garden hose and a gas can... wait that's a felony now... that counts that out...

    they drive nice and its great u didn't get the Dreaded 6 Liter Power stroke.... Its worse then dodge diesel electronic problems....

    but either way you go they are all expensive !! the injectiors for my truck are 250 bucks a pop ! (i think)

    yeah i have a salesmen that comes in that has a 04 ford with the 6L he has caught it on fire 2 times now and countless other 1000 dollar repairs....

    If you have the 7.3 you're golden. The only issues I ever had were clutch problems. I can't imagine why though?

    i say you bag it haha.. not much of a ford guy but they have a nice diesel.. i like cummins way better tho

    since it's a diesel engine i think you should be able to get 500,000 out of it easily. i've seen lots of cat/cummins/detroit diesels in big rigs go to a million before needing an overhaul.

    and if i remember correctly ford actual owns a good portion of cummins.

    Correct correct and correct. And I belive that 7.3 is a international engine.

    ford dose own a lot of cummins dodge is loosing it and future Ford trucks will have it... if they can put the cummins with the new automatic tranny they have in them currently they will have a bullet proof drive train the 7.3 is a bulletproof motor i wouldn't worry about it even with 266XXX miles
