picked this up today. I've wanted one since i was in junior high. 1999, 75K miles, 454, leather interior. got it for $8K
Looks real clean for only spending 8k. Nice find! Hey can you hook me up with your bank manager? LOL.
Wow! clean. I never seen a vortec 7300. A guy I work with has a hotrod 90 454ss. I didnt know they came with other than throttle body injection. Kinda looks like a 5.0 plenum. Interesting...
looks good you better get on the phone and call trevor at tennessee wheel and tire and get some semi wheels on order http://www.tnwheelandtire.com Tennessee Wheel & Tire's Myspace
thanks! no plans to cut it up. i just plan to install factory taillights instead of the euro lights. thanks! thanks! it's not that small. i plan on pullin the lux out to see how it compares.. lol thanks! it already has helper bags in the rear. i don't want it bagged right now, but my wife asked what it would cost to buy the stuff to bag it. thanks! thanks! i go thru wells fargo for all my stuff... lol thanks! the vortec 7400 was available from 96-01. every 1 ton i've seen from those years have it. gots a ton of torque!! i prefer automatics.... i'm a fat lazy bastard thanks! i've always wanted the 10 lug semi wheels. i think with my connection thru a local dealer i could have alcoas machined for less money tho. nah... no bed bobs... learned my lesson on the 86! thanks dave!
for the price of the wheels and having them machined down by some one thats done it a few times its not that bad also if your not going to swap out the rear end or narrow it you want the townasty wheels for the back so that your wheels arnt hanging out with the extra machining and 4 adapters for my 6 wheels I was just over 4g's
Ya i think you'll bag it soon. An plus your wife seems to be ok with it if she's askin how much it'll cost lol now she's a keeper
