My metal fuel line at the top of the gas tank split on the supply side spraying fuel under high pressure against the underside of the bed and cab. The top of the tank is only visible by a mirror (the tank still in the truck). From pictures I see on-line of gas tanks, I do not see any metal lines afixed to the top of the tank.

    My questions are:

    > Are the metal fuel lines part of the sending unit?
    > Are they part of a cap or cover that is replaceable? I am thinking part of the fuel pump housing.

What is the best place to get replacement parts, dealer or other?

Any trick on dropping the tank? It looks like 3 bolts fwd and aft and a couple of hoses.

    Thanks for the advise.

Yes,don't drive it! Replace the whole flange plate. You may find one @ a wrecker or have to order through the dealer( around $140)!
