1987 long bed 22r. I lowered my front till I hit my bump stops. My ? Is can I cut the bracket of that the bump stop is hitting. I want to do the BJ flip but I don't want to ride to ruff.
You won't lose ride quality from a ball joint flip. Save a couple of Benjamins and lower it the right way aka drop spindles. You'll still retain ride quality and alignment.
Yea, curious how you got that low. I have BJ flip, LCA's and Spindles. Approx. 6" and I'm not on the bump stops. Also curious as to any rubbing issues your having as mine with the stock 14's and tires rubs in turns and on dips. To post pics, you have to have it on the internet somewhere. photobucket, facebook, ect... Then use the post pic icon above. It's the yellow one with the pyramids in it. Here's a pic of my 85 LB
niceandeasy - Toyota Minis Gallery I hope this will work its the only thing I can get to work. every time I copy the short cut and put it in the insert image a different truck pops up
Re-index your torsion bars. Itl put some spring back in your suspension. And just pull the bumpstops out cut em and reinstall. Dont cut the bracket just yet. And yea youl be fine if you do the BJ flip. At this point its guna be the bumpstop keeping the truck up.
