frame thickness?

    just what it says, want to practice welds on the same thickness as the frame so i can do some stress testing. practice makes perfect...:waytogo:

    Thanks. I kept trying to look it up but all I could find last night were guys looking to know what size metal to use for patching the frame.

    the outside of the frames are around 1/8", and the inside walls are closer to 1/16".

    i use 2x3x.120 wall tube to make notches, back halfs, and my whole frame. holds up nicely without adding too much weight.
