hey im looking on doing a compleate custom build i want to build a custom frame but need the dimensions for a ext cab so i know where the body mounts go any one know where i can find some dimensions its going to be B.A.

Ive been friends with Steve for over 15 years...one of my first custom rollpans
was made by him when his shop was Alter Images lol. Since then Ive bought all my rollpans, skins, fillers & my latest a set of his upper/lower control arms. I trust him 100% & whats cool about Steve is that he makes time for anyone
who needs help.

dont have any numbers for ya, but what are you building the frame for ? Im guessing for a stock floor body drop ? I wanna know how come nobodys built a frame for the toyotas, like you can order it and just slap your body engine and everything else onto it...

 

ya im building it custom, sfbd, crazy tubular back half and runin a blown 350 in it but i really wanted to build the frame so its clean

its crazy you know steve good like like that ive know and followed the shop for not quite as long but for like 8 years i talked to steve and he hasnt a clue and if i where to find anything he would find it helpfull so if anyone has a clue like messurements on the frame for where all the components go it would be great

 

its kool you guys live so far away but know steve preety good i only live an hour and ahalf away kinda kool

 

go buy a junker and pull the frame ? or find a lifted on and measure under it ?

 

my cuz has one so im just going to messure all his sh*t any suggestions on where i can find a cheap cab and bed for a 90s ext cab

 

id say craigslist or try some wheeling message boards in your local area. maybe somebody has a rolled rolling chassis they are trying to get rid of.

 

Yea its amazing how good you can get to be friends with someone by talking on the phone & emails lol! If all goes well Ill actually get to meet him this summer when I go out the west coast to see my cousin. If Steve doesnt know then I may know someone...keep me posted on your progress!!

I have a bed I can deliver it you you in about 2 months, im driving out there for spring break, and again in the summer for a month.

 

that would be sick man how much are you wanting for it ?

 

not very much, I would have to rent a trailer or borrow one or something.

depending on gas prices and how I can get it up there, since I am driving a lowered truck, we can work something out ya know. Ive been trying to get rid of it for months ! its not in perfect shape but can be brought back to mint shape without too much work. Ill work on pics for ya
